Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contact us

If you contact us via an email address listed on our website, we will use the data you send exclusively for the purpose of processing your request. These data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. In some cases, however, it is necessary for us to process your data further and collect it separately.

Data retention

We do not store personal data that we collect and process in the course of our normal business activities longer than is necessary for our business purposes or due to legal requirements. In certain cases, for example for tax and accounting purposes, we are legally obliged to store personal data even after an active business relationship has ended.

Log data / server logs

Every time you access our website, usage data is transmitted by the internet browser you are using and stored in log files (server log files) on the web server we use. These files contain, among other things, the following information: Name / URL of the website accessed, host name of the requesting provider, date and time of the server request, browser type and version, operating system and the URL of the previously visited page (referrer URL). IP addresses are only recorded anonymously as part of this logging. The log data is only used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of our website. This log data is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if there is a legitimate suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

Cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. These are small text files that are transmitted to your browser via a web server. The information stored in cookies helps us to tailor the use of our website to individual needs and to continuously improve our offer. We never store personal data without your consent. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. A notice banner at the bottom of our website indicates the use of cookies. By clicking on the "I understand" link, you confirm that you have taken note of the use of cookies on our website. The validity of this cookie confirmation is set to 365 days and will no longer be displayed when you visit our website again within this time (unless you have deleted the cookie by then or the page is accessed with a different browser).

Functional restrictions without cookies

If you generally restrict or prevent the use of cookies, certain areas and services of our website may not function as expected. Cookies that are already on your computer can be deleted at any time using your browser settings. The procedure for doing this differs depending on the browser. Information on this and further options regarding cookies can be found on the pages of the respective browser providers: Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, safari, Opera.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. (hereinafter always referred to as “Google” or “Google Analytics”) on our website. Google Analytics uses so-called target-oriented cookies, which are stored on your computer and which enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website.

IP anonymization / pseudonymization

Since your privacy is important to us, your user data will be pseudonymized. We use the “Activation of IP anonymization” or “anonymizeIp” function to ensure that IP addresses are recorded anonymously (so-called IP masking). Your IP address is recorded by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, but pseudonymised immediately (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localization is possible. In exceptional cases, IP addresses may be completely transmitted to a Google server in the USA and only shortened there. Google will process this information on our behalf in order to analyze the use of our website, compile reports on website activity and provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Deactivate Google Analytics / prevent data collection

You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the Google Analytics cookies and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google using a corresponding cookie setting in your browser; we would like to point out, however, that other areas and services of our website may not work as expected (you can find more information on this in the “Cookies” section under “Functional restrictions without cookies”).

Google also offers its own browser plug-in for deactivating Google Analytics, which can be downloaded and installed on this website.

You can also deactivate data collection by Google Analytics specifically for this website by clicking on the link below.

If this link is inactive, then Google Analytics is not activated.

Order data processing

We have signed a data processing agreement with Google.

The relationship with Google is based on the so-called “EU-US Privacy Shield”, an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA. It can therefore be assumed that the processing of personal data by Google has an “adequate level of data protection” and that the data is handled in accordance with data protection regulations. You can find the certification of Google under the Privacy Shield on privacyshield.gov.

Further information can be found in the Google Analytics Terms of Use and in general Google Privacy Policy

Admin area / login

In addition to the user area (front end), which is freely accessible to every visitor, our website also has its own admin area (back end). This is not part of the official menu structure and is reserved exclusively for our administrators for the purpose of managing the content and functionality of the website. It goes without saying that we have an increased and justified interest in protecting this area from unauthorized access. We use special security measures for this purpose, including temporarily or permanently storing IP addresses and blocking access if they have made multiple incorrect and / or unauthorized login attempts (e.g. by providing incorrect access data).

Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts, a service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), on our website for the uniform presentation of text content. This integration usually takes place via an external server call to Google in the USA, whereby it can be assumed that even more extensive information - for example IP addresses - will be recorded, stored and analyzed. For reasons of data protection, we therefore refrain from such direct integration and provide these fonts locally via the web server we use. If your browser does not support web fonts, one of the standard fonts on your computer is used automatically.

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection claims have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the data protection authority.
